Michael McClellan
Tenor, Soloist
Tenor Michael McClellan received his graduate degree in Voice from Manhattan School of Music where he studied with Metropolitan Opera soprano Judith Raskin. He has performed on the stages of the Santa Fe Opera, European Opera (Genval, Belgium), Alice Tully Hall, and been a soloist with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s. Since moving to Cincinnati to enter medical school, he has sung with the Vocal Arts Ensemble and as a soloist in the Knox Church choir under Earl Rivers. He has also directed contemporary music groups at both Knox and Bellarmine Chapel at Xavier University. He continues to compose new music, and is working on his second recording of original songs for the church. He and his wife Lynn have four children and four grandchildren.
