An Afternoon Salon featuring Jan Garrett and JD Martin as they present their “Heart of Harmony” concert. The duo is multi-award-winning singer songwriters who live and create their music in the mountains of Colorado near Aspen. Both are seasoned performers, wise teachers and compassionate creative guides who teach with a twinkle, and inspire by example. Harmony is an on-going practice for this married couple who are also artistic collaborators and business partners. Their music is rich and intelligent, a velvet-hammer wake-up call as satisfying to the soul as it is to the ear….songs to open the heart and refresh the spirit.

Our human experience is intertwined with the objects around us. Movement artists Jennifer Aiken and Peter Davison reveal shared aspects of life through astonishing interactions with objects, and each other. Drawing on decades of experience in dance, circus arts and physical theatre, these two artists create a completely original performance that is unlike any other yet accessible for all audiences, young and old alike. ODT presents works with diverse styles and visual elements, treating audiences to a rich layering of powerful movement, imagery, humanity and virtuosic skills.

OCPAG’s ongoing mission is to...

...connect local youth with the performing arts. We have given over $34,000 in scholarships over the past seven years to deserving students pursuing advanced training in music and theater, and we sponsor a variety of master classes, in-school performances featuring visiting artists, and children’s programs. The flagship event is the annual San Juan Chamber MusicFest presented each August under the artistic direction of Max Levinson. We invite you to our upcoming events.

We are one of the founding members of the Alpenglow Arts Alliance and as such, we work with other arts-related organizations to support each other’s mission.  We serve as partner supporters for the Open Bard Poetry Series and the Ouray Community Chorus.
